Hey everyone! My name is Andy, and I’m from Tennessee –born and raised. Go Titans! I work as an IT network administrator for a family-owned company in the Memphis area. I’ve messed with computers ever since I was a wee little sprout, so it was only natural that I’d move into the IT field, where I’ve been the past 10 years since graduating college.
Outside of the IT world, I’m just simply a fan of music. Even though I grew up in the 90s, I grew up listening to 70s and 80s (now “classic”) rock –big fan of Fleetwood Mac! –with a little bit of 90s country thrown in for good measure. A good beat and good lyrics are what I look for, which is what draws me to today’s country. I was first introduced to Kelsea when she was a Highway Find on The Highway back in 2014, when they played Love Me Like You Mean It fairly regularly, well before it hit the charts. Once Peter Pan hit XM radio, I was hooked. While that song may not necessarily speak to a guy, it’s one of those songs I can’t help but jam to when it comes on, and is easily one of my top 5 favorite songs.
I first saw Kelsea when she opened for Thomas Rhett in early 2017. I’ve since seen her several more times, including opening for Lady Antebellum and for Keith Urban. Along the way, I met Ashley and Jenna through mutual friends, ironically enough at another artist’s show in Nashville in May 2018. I had always heard and seen that Kelsea was one of the most kind-hearted and down to earth people around, and that was confirmed once I met Kelsea for the first time in November 2018. Even though I was super nervous, she talked to me as if we had been lifelong friends and made me feel so welcome! She truly deserves all of the accolades for what shehas accomplished thus far, and will continue to do for years to come.
My favorite Kelsea songs would have to be Peter Pan and XO from The First Time, and from Unapologetically it would have to be Legends and Get Over Yourself. While technically not Kelsea songs, I also LOVE This Feeling and Kelsea’s cover of Landslide –Fleetwood Mac!- from Unapologetically Deluxe.
I’m so so excited to be a new member of Team KC, and could not think of a better group of friends with whom to work. Kelsea’s fandom is one of the best out there, and we hope that you enjoy the page as much as we enjoy putting it all together for everyone!
